Naps could make history if successful the proposal of the Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy to reduce working hours by two hours, reports ‘The Economist’.
The new legislation would allow the population stop work at six in the afternoon, two hours before what is done today.
to this end, the Prime Minister said he would seek an agreement with other parties, trade unions and employers’ organizations .
currently the Spanish workers start work at 10 am, and stay until 2 pm, when they have a nap for up to three hours, and end their day at 8 pm .
