The Catalan independence would only majority in a single list … – Reuters Spain

MADRID (Reuters) – The sovereignist parties Catalans obtain an absolute majority only if they were presented in coalition with the regional elections next September 27, according to a poll published Sunday in the newspaper La Vanguardia

If you submit separately Democratic Convergence de Catalunya (CDC), Esquerra Republicana (ERC) and the Popular Unity Candidates (CUP) would add no 68 seats needed for a majority in the Catalan chamber of 135 representatives, as they would be in 63-66 representatives.

The poll reflects Owners CDC, the party of Catalan president, Artur Mas, could significantly backward compared to the result obtained in 2012 in coalition with Unió party that has recently broken after decades of political alliance.

According to the survey, the non-independence parties rozarían 50 percent of the vote, with a rise Podemos coalition with Greens and ICV Citizens at the expense of the collapse of socialist and popular.

Recent polls have found an increase in the rejection of the independence of Catalonia in the region, and in municipal elections last May 24, the Nationalists lost the mayorship of Barcelona in front of a public platform led by the social activist Ada Colau.

After the local elections, Mas proposed to develop a unified list for the 27-S between the parties sovereignists, although negotiations are not being easy, and the leader of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, has even proposed a list without politicians.

But the appointment has raised September elections as a plebiscite to decide the future of Catalonia in Spain, but the poll published on Sunday showed that nearly 69 percent will vote thinking more out of the crisis, and only 35 percent will do so with the aim of achieving independence.

La Vanguardia The survey was conducted between 6 and July 9 through 1,000 telephone interviews and has a margin of error of 3.16 percent.
