The Government will consider today a report on the consequences of … – euronews

Madrid, February 6 ( EFE ) .- The Council of Ministers today discussed a report on the status of the storm that is affecting Spain and on the damage caused, mainly, in the Cantabrian Mountains, the Pyrenees and the Ebro whole area.

The prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, will chair the meeting of the Government, which are expected to attend all members of his Cabinet.

On Wednesday, at a meeting of the committee of secretaries of state and deputy chaired by Vice President of Government, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, was a first analysis of the consequences of temporary and already announced the presentation of the report which is now on the table of the Council of Ministers.

A document that was entrusted to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Isabel García Tejerina, and which have collaborated several ministerial departments.

The Cabinet also approved today a royal decree that the organic template prosecutor be extended.

It is also expected that the Government approve the royal decrees that develop the law of measures to improve the functioning of the food chain.

This is a law that seeks to limit the imbalances in the food chain and, to date, has motivated and 1,800 inspections, 17 complaints and the first financial penalty for prohibited practices.

The law requires performing contracts of sale where the original price and term receivables and account for compliance with the Agency for Information and Food Control ( AICA ).
