MADRID, 24 (ANSA) – A network of recruitment and indoctrination of jihadist terrorists was dismantled in Spain with four people arrested, reported Today the Ministry of Interior.
Two arrests were made in Melilla, Spanish enclave in North Africa, and the other two in Catalonia.
arrested in Melilla are responsible for creating and managing various Internet platforms through which disseminated propaganda material of terrorist groups, particularly the Islamic State, which was edited and translated into Spanish by detainees.
A web portal managed by one of the detainees had more of a thousand followers in areas of Spain with high rate of Islamist radicalization and also had many supporters in Latin America.
The detainees were apology for terrorist tactics, especially in the act of martyrdom.
Recruitment activities not only took place on the Internet but detainees in private meetings showed the most current videos in order to indoctrinate.
