Union recommends Mas extend the accounts and exhaust the legislature … – The New Spain

Democratic Union of Catalonia (UDC), the Democrat leg CiU, opened the door yesterday to budget extra time and recommended to the Catalan President, Artur But to discard your project to anticipate the elections and to exhaust the legislature.

The Union secretary general, Ramon Espadaler, Catalan reminded that current accounts may be extended if the draft budget for 2015 does not make sufficient parliamentary support and, if so, would not need early elections as Convergence (CDC), the party of Mas and ERC want. Espadaler and defended the convenience of the Government of CiU continue until 2016 and announced that this is the alternative you propose to Mas Union.

In a radio interview, Christian Democrat leader and Minister of Interior of the Generalitat, it also stated that the “democratic normality” should be allowed to adopt the 2015 budget prepared by the Ministry of Andreu Mas-Colell.

On Wednesday the first budget debate is held in Parliament, in which amendments to all who have submitted all opponents except ERC, which do not rule by then groups will vote.

To overcome that first step, the Government of Mas needs at least to refrain ERC and PSC. Esquerra had said he would veto the bill if Mas not commit to hold elections immediately, and finalizing an amendment to the whole and a possible alternative text submitted before the deadline tomorrow winding. However, ERC spokesman Alfred Bosch confirmed yesterday that there are “talks” to negotiate the presentation of a “more social” accounts.

The discrepancy between CiU and ERC background is that Mas does not want early elections unless Republicans agree to go on a singleton list.

The first secretary of the PSC, Miquel Iceta said CiU and ERC “want to independence, but are not able to make a budget together.”

After 9-N, the PSC offered to support and sustain the Budget in Parliament for Mas to exhaust the legislature, but in return, demanded the President to concentrate on creating jobs and improving the economy and to stop “break instead seek agreement” with the government of Mariano Rajoy.

In this climate of uncertainty, CDC spokeswoman, Mercè Conesa, launched a “last call for ERC,” which extended the PSC, to support the bills. Conesa believes the agreement is still possible as ERC has been “absolutely liable” to give parliamentary support to the Government of CiU the past two years.

The convergent spokesman revealed that ERC has not told them to vote for the budget, but not otherwise, and was pleased that it be thinking and come to appreciate the “pros and cons “.
