The head of the CEO, Jordi Argelaguet, presented yesterday at a press conference the results of the survey on the political context in Catalonia held this December 2014.

According to the latest survey by the Center for Studies Opinion of the Generalitat, 45.3 percent of Catalan otherwise shows that Catalonia becomes an independent state, compared to 44.5 percent who was in favor.

According to data, citizens when asked about different options, 36.2 percent of Catalan opt for independence, while 28.9 percent called for a state within a federal Spain, 21.8 percent want remain an autonomous region and 5.4 percent a region of Spain.

There have also released the latest survey data referring to the Chamber and the hypothetical elections. They are pointing to a tie between Convergence and Union (CiU) and Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC) in a Catalan elections.

Today CiU be imposed with a range of 34-36 seats, while ERC get 34-35 deputies and Ciutadans be third force. In matters of direct intention to vote, CiU would have a 14 percent and Republicans would be the most votes, with 17.2 percent.
