The Prime Minister and the PP, Mariano Rajoy, will chair Tuesday, from 11.30, the plenary meeting of the Popular Party in Congress Deputies, which will announce its new spokesman in the House to replace the Minister of Health, Social Services and Equality, Alfonso Alonso.

Rajoy and said last December 6, in an informal conversation with journalists at XXXVI anniversary of the Constitution, which expect the plenary meeting on Tuesday to unveil the name of the substitute or replacement for Alonso.

With the appointment of the new spokesman in the House, Rajoy will complete the changes that led to the resignation of the former Minister of Health, Social Services and Equality Ana Mato last November 26.

Rajoy took almost a week to announce that the then PP spokesman in the Congress of Deputies, Alfonso Alonso, replace Mato. It did last December 2, just three days of celebrations of the Constitution in the House, to which the PP spokesman went without.

On Tuesday, two weeks after the appointment of Alonso, Rajoy reveal who will be the new voice of the PP in Congress, but until now has given clues as to who is chosen.

Among the names that have rung in the pools within the PP from the floor of Alonso are, among others, general secretary of the PP in Congress, Jose Antonio Bermudez de Castro, deputy spokesman of the PP in the House Rafael Hernando, and Secretary of State for Parliamentary Relations, José Luis Ayllon.

In addition, the president of the Congress of Deputies, Jesus Posada acknowledged that he “would like” the Spokesperson was occupied by a woman and named as a possibility for third vice president of the lower house, Dolors Montserrat.

The plenary meeting of the parliamentary group will be held behind closed doors, so that Members of this party will be the only having access to speech Rajoy, who years ago used to allow access of journalists to hear their words.

For now, the PP has provided statements before or since and has only called for photographers and cameras to take pictures of the family photo, in which for the first time will be the new popular spokesman in Congress.
