ERC provides a boost to Mas and paves the negotiations … – La Rioja

Budgets of the Generalitat and sovereigntist process go hand than ever. Republican Left yesterday launched a message of relaxation towards CiU to announce that there will table an amendment to all the accounts of the Catalan Government and facilitate its passage through Parliament voting against tomorrow, next to CiU, amendments to all the other groups opposition. Esquerra avoided slam budgets Artur Mas and he was thinking about trading it maintains in parallel with the president of the Generalitat on the sovereignty process and its intention to turn the election into a referendum on independence.

“It is a political gesture, flexibility and generosity to facilitate agreement and that the country takes a step toward independence,” said the Republicans. The attitude budgets “favors the negotiating climate”, accepted from CiU.

The Most

Winning time

The ultimate purpose of the Republicans is not to support the accounts of the Generalitat, or much less. In fact they are in favor of an extension. But with this move expands the scope for Mas and Junqueras they can reach an agreement on the formula for the Catalan elections, which could attend together or separately and with the common goal of moving towards independence.

In principle, CiU and ERC gain time until mid-January, when the debate on the partial amendment of the Catalan budgets are held. By then, the ERC expects Mas has already announced the convening of regional elections for municipal before May. To meet the statutory deadline and that the Catalan elections can take place before local, Mas should dissolve the House in late this year and early February. The suggestion that Esquerra launched yesterday was announcing the call in the institutional discourse year end.

The ball is back on the roof of Mas, who has to decide whether to call elections immediately, as also calls the Catalan National Assembly, or lengthen the legislature until 2016.
