Spain receives new group of refugees from Greece – Telesur TV

A new group of 45 refugees from Greece arrived Monday in Spain, where they will be welcomed by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as their request for international protection is processed.

The group of 45 asylum seekers belonging to the 150 refugees agreed by the Spanish government that belong to the European program of relocation of people in the Hellenic country.

According to local media the 22 men, eight women and 15 children, including a newborn, had been waiting in Greece to seek international protection in any country of the European Union several months (EU) .
