Quasimodo is a German shepherd who suffers the syndrome of the broken column, which has a peculiar aspect: has almost no neck, but his head and limbs are of a size provided.
The animal was found on the streets of Kentucky, United States. Their caregivers can seek that have a family that love and care it requires. To do this, they created a Facebook page where they post photos and videos of Quasimodo.
His life so far was very sad: his owners abandoned at birth in a den when they saw his malformation, then nobody wanted to adopt him and lived in a room eating leftovers from neighboring
Now, after its peculiar image has made him a celebrity: in just two days has had more than 33,000 followers. To be adopted, their caregivers have decided that first have to be completely healthy.
Quasimodo does not seem to feel pain for their genetic defect, but little is known about the quality of life of these dogs as they were documented only 13 similar cases in the world.
