The PSOE decides: with PP or we Can – The New Daily • Nicaragua

The president of the Spanish Government, Mariano Rajoy, does not have the people’s mandate to govern, that is clear, however, is determined to be reelected but does not have the sufficient votes in the congress. The parliamentary regime in Spain establishes that what they are voting citizens is to govern who gets on or enters the sufficient number of votes in the congress, up until now, Rajoy, whose formation, the Popular Party (PP), was the most voted in the elections last June, the second after the one in December of 2015, don’t get the 176 votes to follow the face of the Government. The economic powers, the most radical sector of the business community and the undeniable influence of the media coporations portend, as a form of pressure to the socialists, a disaster for Spain if the latter do not abstain or support to Rajoy. Pedro Sánchez, secretary general of the PSOE said recently to hold on to their not to Rajoy: “it takes a clean Government and fair, and that is not the government of mr Rajoy”.

In June of this year, the PP, in truth, was the most voted, with 33%, even, won 14 seats in relation to the first election of December, however the 137 seats today plus 32, which adds its ally, Citizens, and the voting unit of the National Party Basque, gives you 170 votes, six of the absolute majority that apparently did not succeed, nor the most simple, how likely is he developed the second ballot. And would only effect the endowment if the socialists abstain or some crossover, it looks very difficult, given the six or more votes to do it president. The PP, as the party with the most votes in this second election, is the first to have the option of doing Government. However, this is not always the case; in march, three months after the first election, Rajoy did not accept the King’s proposal submitted to the endowment because he was aware that it did not have the adequate support despite the fact that the PP was also the most voted. Sanchez, of the PSOE, who was second, took the helm, was presented to the voting, but did not obtain the necessary votes in congress.

Pablo Iglesias, secretary general of we Can, in declarations to Cadena Ser, and collected by Europa Press, he declared that the PSOE is required to seek an alternative after the failure of Rajoy, and that if not, it means that you bet for a third election on the 25th of December. He added that the Socialist Party, and We must engage in dialogue but not before admitting that something is difficult. Churches left a strong message to Sanchez: If the two voted Not to Rajoy and we do not want new elections, we are obligated to try. On Tuesday, leaders of the PSOE and We they headed their cannons against Rajoy after his inauguration speech. The spokesman of the PSOE in the congress said that he saw in Rajoy, a politician tired with a project exhausted. “Rajoy has not given any reason for socialists to finally support it.” Churches made range of his humor and compared the speech as a vignette of the old satirical weekly “Brother Wolf” where “the old leader” is offered for citizens to choose between him and the chaos, when in reality both options imply the chaos.

The artillery media are not left behind in the pressures for the formation of a government of the PP at any price. From these companies come out the titles of the survey results manipulated. For example: do you need to abstain from the socialists to allow a government of the PP and not going to third election on the 25th of December? The answer is obvious, yes. Others wonder whether Mariano Rajoy should not be the candidate to facilitate Government, here the responses are overwhelming in pointing out that, yes, but the media pass on tiptoe by this title. Wonder if there are polls that are challenged by a government of the left between the PSOE, podemos and the pro-independence groups.
