Santamaría chairs a new committee meeting on Ebola – The País.com (Spain)

The Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Saenz de Santamaria, presided this morning the second meeting of the special committee for the management of Ebola in Spain. After the meeting, it was reported that the state of Teresa Romero remains almost constant and remains stable within the gravity, and that there has been no notable changes between the rest of those admitted who are asymptomatic.

In addition, the Special Committee met with the Scientific Committee and has decided to strengthen some areas with the addition of specialists in intensive care medicine, epidemiology and microbiology. It has also been agreed that Spain intensify efforts at the international level to share experience and exchange information on the actions being undertaken to prevent and treat the consequences of Ebola.
