Vox president, Santiago Abascal, I consider that this sanction and its consequences are proof of everything that could make the state if use all mechanisms at its disposal. “What a game like Vox, with so few resources, has achieved, shows what the state would get if truly uses all legitimate means,” Abascal said.
Vox filed a complaint against the ANC in estimating “interference in the right to privacy of the Catalans, and that it violated Article 18 of the Constitution by forcing citizens to express their views on ideological facts.” He also understood that “the survey involved a violation of Articles 7 and 8 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU to ask the survey to facilitate habitanteles data such as name, address or phone”. In this sense, Vox led the campaign ‘Now is the time’ to court for the questionnaire “could establish a ‘blacklist’ categorizing respondents between supporters and non-supporters of secession process”.
