Madrid .- The Popular Party (PP), the Spanish Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, published this Friday for the first time his intact accounts on its website in a bid to promote transparency amid corruption scandals that hit.

The training provides a conservative document all economic data movements, revenues, expenses and bank loans in 2014, a year that ended with revenues of almost 72 million euros and expenditure of 64.3 million , DPA reported.

It also adds a box with the list of grants received (58.28 million euros) and another with donations (323 778 euros).

The PP sent their accounts last June 24 after the Court of Auditors if any delivered and explained to the Executive Committee of the party. The Law on Financing of Political Parties in Spain requires the political forces to publish their accounts, but from 2015.

The dissemination of these data came a day after the former treasurer PP Luis Barcenas insisted on the existence of an illegal party funding since its inception. The so-called “Barcenas case,” investigating the Audiencia Nacional, has been a headache for the party throughout the term.
