Today begins the month of July, and his arrival is started the second half of 2015, with months that are already part of history important fairs like Castellon, Las Fallas in Valencia, Sevilla left, and most importantly, great importance is San Isidro. Now it’s his turn to the city of Pamplona and its traditional and renowned trade show in San Fermin.

It should be noted that the scope of a festival has always been in analogy to the personality of a people, its people and its history. That is why in the early days of July and for several centuries in the Navarre city of Pamplona, is lived forward and unmatched excitement all galas organized around their patron saint San Fermin.

What began centuries ago as an exclusive festival of Pamplona, through the years became popular to other entities, which was gradually attracting the attention of fans from all over Spain, and from half a century above are going bringing together every visitor year all over the world, who come to the streets of Pamplona to partake of a festival that greatly captivated the famous writer Hemingway, who was in charge of making known to the whole world that in them He lived, but probably, and not just for WELFARE-which is what gives life and foundation-tourism becoming vulgar, Street, impertinent and annoying the streets of Pamplona in chaos alcohol and debauchery, as if it were a grotesque and prosaic lubricious carnival.

But, back to the transcendent! The Pamplona are a people delivered enthusiastically rooted tradition like no other in his ways, and are now called “San Fermin”, same that shape the most passionate outburst of joy of a people and the cult who have always given to His Majesty the bull, which becomes the centerpiece of the celebrations that were born with the festivities in honor of the patron saint of Navarre, San Fermin of Amiens. This great saint born in the city of “Pompaelo” -today Pamplona- probably in the year 272 AD, was the son of a Roman senator named signed important official of the Roman administration in the third century.

The young Fermin converts to Christianity and was baptized along with his parents, who see their son at the age of 18 he was ordained a priest and moved to France to the city of Amiens, where he was appointed bishop just 24 years age. It was a great preacher and evangelist of his time, but unfortunately it is apprehended by the authorities opposed the disclosure of Christian doctrine, which finally ordered to be beheaded and died in martyrdom on September 25 of the year 303. It was not until 1186 – nine centuries later-that the bishop Pedro de Paris moved from the city of Amiens in Pamplona San Fermin relics, becoming over the years in the patron saint of Navarre with St Francis Xavier.

Over time, the festivities that were held in September was finally moved to July, and religious feasts in honor of San Fermin amalgamated with the playful celebrations of His Majesty the bull, thus leading to the world famous “Sanfermines”. Everything begins the proclamation of the mayor in the Town Hall Square, where thousands of people around the world, dressed in white and wearing the traditional red scarf symbolizing the San Fermin cloth hear excited and nervously: “Pamploneses and Pamplonesas, Viva San Fermin “and then, with the” loud bang “, started the show that captures the attention of friends and strangers, amateur to the most beautiful of all parties, and today many tourists, visitors and busybodies who even remotely you have an idea of what a bull, and the only thing that caused his impertinence is going altering and deforming in recent decades the legitimate and true meaning of this wonderful holiday.

All agree that the bulls in Pamplona is an emotion that many will them the willies, and I am sure that there is no such danger that activity will be compared for their indisputable value waste, skill and strength foundations are indispensable to overcome as high risk. However, we should question and never forget is the fact that the closures are just the preamble to what will be the most important and basic day event, which are the bullfights, but unfortunately are losing relevance among some Pamplona and visitors, for the mischief and idiocy of some talkative cynically misrepresent and distort their comments, the real plot and essence of these parties, despising the bullfighting and their foolish speeches pretending to induce the disappearance of bullfighting, arguing These parties should only be carried out with the bulls in the morning, and after haranguing the people of Pamplona and visitors to carry on thinking only of drinking, eating, laughing and having fun wantonly.

This itself is intentionally misrepresent and try to confound all those who come to Pamplona attracted by the magic and grandeur that surrounds the festival of San Fermin, its running and bullfights, where the center of the show is del Toro, is it the shape and focus of this emblematic manifestation of art, culture and nobility.
