Barcelona, EFE Ciutadans (C’s) has advanced today that drive with other parties a commission of inquiry in Parliament if the Catalan president Jordi Pujol not appear voluntarily after confessing that he had accounts abroad without regularization for over 30 years.
Speaking to RNE, Ciutadans spokesman Matias Alonso, explained that if Pujol not give appropriate explanations in the Catalan House after his confession, his party wants to promote a commission of inquiry “in which this issue was dealt with thoroughly and bring to light fundamental questions about this web of corruption.”
Regarding the sovereignty debate Alonso has insisted that the president of the Generalitat, Artur Mas, should call early elections as consultation scheduled for November 9, said spokesman Ciutadans will not be held.
