Podemos party lost support among voters – Herald Tribune


 Reuters. The electoral support for the anti-austerity party Podemos, led by Pablo Iglesias, was well below that of the two traditional political parties of Spain in a poll published Saturday by the newspaper El Pais, at least six months before general elections November.

 

 We support dropped to third place in the survey, and the governor Popular Party (PP) and the opposition Socialist PSOE remain side by side in the first and second. Intend to vote for the PSOE was at 23.5 percent, while the center-right PP won a 23.1 percent support, according to the survey prepared by Metroscopia. We can, and another new party, the centrist Citizens, appeared in third and fourth place with 18.1 percent and 16 percent, respectively.
