MADRID Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola is on the list of groups and political parties to participate in elections in Catalonia.

The list promotes the independence of the region autonomous northeastern Spain, although the famous technical director has little chance of becoming a legislator.

The current president of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Artur Mas, will be in fourth place; and the president of Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, Oriol Junqueras fifth, while positions six seven will be for independent defined.

From the eighth place will be split 58 percent for Democratic Convergence of Catalonia (led by Mas) and 42 percent for Republican Left of Catalonia, which must also define their candidates.
