Arrested by capturing women for EI – Los Andes (Argentina)

A Spanish man aged 29 was arrested yesterday in the Spanish enclave of Melilla, North Africa, as part of a new operation against indoctrination and recruitment of children, adolescents and women Westerners to send to areas controlled by the Islamic State (EI) in Syria and Iraq.

The detainee accumulated multimedia files even jihadist character used to deliberately expose them to your minor child, in order to familiarize you with the jihadi tactics, said the Spanish Interior Ministry said in a statement.

The father of her son wore black and was carrying a large machete, emulating the “uniformity” of the fighters of the Islamic State (EI).

Part of his indoctrination and propaganda material was aimed “exclusively to the radicalization of women.” The arrested voice recordings produced with radical doctrinal sermons, which were intended to incite not obey the established laws, only to follow the Sharia or Islamic law, not to establish contact with “infidels” and to reject any system of government than the Caliphate, the system imposed by the EI.

This is another case of a person who, having been born and raised in European countries, it has been undergoing a process of radicalization that has led to his commitment to the EI.

This antiterrorist operation is a continuation of other preventive actions carried out in August and December 2014 in Ceuta, Melilla, Barcelona and Morocco.
