yesterday morning, Tuesday, the National Police recovered the liturgical objects stolen Sunday night 24 Blessed Seville Corpus Christi Parish, located on Avenida de la Palmera.

After discovering the fact, the parochial vicar of Holy Corpus Christi, Jose Francisco Duran, reported to the National Police removal of such objects. The investigation ended with the recovery of stolen objects: a virile gold, two silver goblets, four silver bells, five silver patens, two trays of gold metal, silver metal lectern, three chalices and other ornamental objects .

In the same statement detailing the officers found that the front door of the church had been forced from the inside, which suggested initially that the robbery had agreed to the temple without using force, had expected inside until closing to subtract the effects of value and was forced to break the door to get out with the loot.

In the morning, the police have been delivered to Don Teodoro Leon, Vicar General of the Archdiocese, and Don Jesús Donaire, pastor of Most Holy Corpus Christi, the recovered objects, in a ceremony held at the Police Headquarters of Western Andalusia.

From the Archdiocese of Seville efficiency and good work of the police is appreciated, and calls the faithful to a Mass in reparation to be held on Wednesday, February 3, at eight o’clock, in that parish, presided by the Auxiliary Bishop of Seville, Bishop Santiago Gomez Sierra
