For the fifth consecutive year the Senate of Spain hosts the act of state by the memory of Holocaust victims, established on 27 January to be the date the extermination camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau (Poland) was released.
This year the act was chaired by the President of the Senate, Pio Garcia Escudero and will be attended by ministers in office Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Garcia Margallo, Justice, Rafael Catala and Education, Culture and Sports, Inigo Mendez de Vigo.
They also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Spain, political parties, members of the Jewish community, the Roma community and Spanish republican associations.
