The schism of the fist and the rose – The Universal (Venezuela)

The Spanish Socialist workers Party (PSOE) is staging in these crucial moments of the hispanic policy -in the absence of a stable government after 9 months of lassitude and 2 general elections have failed – one of the confrontations more ungrateful of their history: a division, that is, if you do not prevail the responsibility and common sense, to their doors.

The rebellion of Pedro Sánchez, secretary general of the socialists, incapable of facing their responsibilities and obsessed to occupy the chair of the Moncloa, the seat of national government, is about to get a division of the grouping founded on the plan of Pablo Iglesias Posse and a group of intellectuals and workers -typesetters the most-, may 2, 1879, as an expression of the desires and interests of the new working classes which emerged out of the industrial revolution in Europe.

In that long history of 137 years, full of political convulsions epic peppered with social struggles, conflicts, aggressive and a bloody civil war, the symbol of the organization was to the early dawn of the TWENTIETH century, a feather and an anvil that which unified their root intellectual and proletarian.

And what about the emblem current with a fist clenching a rose? This logo began to be used around 1977. In a book of Alfonso Guerra, vice-president socialist in the first democratic government in Spain, after forty years of francoist dictatorship, and with the title "Dictionaries of the left,", find the definition of how the fist and the rose symbolize the union of the workers "with the culture, thought, beauty"… that Is to say, the same concept that the pen and the anvil.

The tense situation of the current socialism iberian could break up the rose petals, thrown to the ground and a fist of iron become shattered. What is happening to the count of the malacrianza of Pedro Sanchez -with little or no knowledge of the twists and turns of the politics and too much pride youth prevented him from making a self-criticism before the debacle that it had in the regional elections in Galicia and the Basque Country, together with a null discernment of the value of dialogue, doing so with this imposture which the PSOE was split between "good" and "bad", depending on who is in favor of their overweening power or not.

An observer would say, successful: "The party is scared, dumbfounded", and it is that asked for his resignation in the face of so much failure in front of the Secretary-General, Sanchez comes out with the stunning occurrence to make a primary and a congress with a unique idea: to remain at the helm of the party and decide its restructuring as a caudillito third world or a Tyrant Flags in the land libertarian of the windmills.

The situation, politically speaking, is serious, has broken all the schemes of wisdom, and the brothel, joined to a confrontation, which is sponsoring a semblance of intolerance, has taken hold of the party -always solid up until this weekend – that has been covered in plus-maze following the resignation of 17 members of the executive, and the refusal of Pedro Sánchez to leave the office.

The opinion editorial of the major information in paper and digital is unanimous: the only way to escape is the secretary general of the PSOE -"inevitable," says the journal "Country"- it is his exit from the party. And he added: "We have known that Sanchez has lied without scruples to their peers. We have checked that its oscillations to the left and right occurred solely on the basis of their personal interests, not their values or their ideology, quite unknown both".

More clear and convincing, impossible.

And the former president Felipe Gonzalez, who clinched the young secretary earnestly, demanded publicly that should assume responsibility and resign was one of them. And he narrated something that dishonors even more to Pedro Sanchez: I promised that the socialist deputies would abstain in the second vote of the investiture of Mariano Rajoy does not prevent the formation of a government as necessary for the interests of the country. Did not.

And so, in that perturbo, is the PSOE, one of the most significant political movements of Europe and safe alternative to govern Spain.

Never better than today, it would be appropriate to read "passion and power", that burning human is described by José Antonio Marina with a wisdom that is admirable. Why would you want so much power? How do you get? How is it maintained? How do you lose? To one who knew fully you could call it a demigod immeasurable!

the philosopher Alain that there is no beauty comparable in the world to a politically treacherous collapsing to the ground. Unfortunately that is the case of Pedro Sanchez. Reached the pinnacle and his excessive ambition lost. What will have a future? If it becomes less insatiable, perhaps.

people tend to forget too soon the wrongs.
