Participation in municipal elections today was of 64.66 percent, slightly lower than in the past, in 2011, where it stood at the 66.16 percent.
The data has been provided by the Deputy Prime Minister, Soraya Saenz de Santamaria, at the hearing to provide the scrutiny of the elections held today by the Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz.
The latest data participation in local elections today corresponded to 18.00, when it stood at 49.80 percent.
