Catalonia Mas investigate Court by separatist consultation – Trade

Barcelona. The Justice investigate the regional president of Catalonia , Artur Mas, for disobedience , because of its role in the illegal voting on the sovereigntist aspirations of the autonomous region of northeastern Spain that took place on November 9.

That day some 2.3 million Catalans participated in a vote popular non-binding , sponsored by various nationalist groups in the region and whose claim he could be legally convened had been annulled by the Spanish Constitutional Court.

The city of Superior Court of Justice Catalonia (TSJC) today agreed to hear the complaints against Artur Mas ; regional vice president, Joana Ortega, and the Minister of Education, Irene Rigau, for alleged disobedience to the Constitutional Court in the participatory process of November 9.

In a decision today majority, the six judges of the civil and criminal chamber of TSJC decided to grant leave to all complaints by the consultation of November 9 are filed after the decision of the Constitutional Court of November 4, 2014, which suspended the alternative query on sovereignism, including that of the prosecution.

The TSJC combine all accepted complaints and investigate the alleged disobedience of the Catalan government to the decision of the Constitutional , “and all those facts that directly or indirectly relate”, as reported by the Catalan High Court

A first call for the sovereigntist consultation was already paralyzed by the Spanish Constitution, as he did after the polls attempt to take to the streets to make it a participatory process of the population without legal value.

In a region with a population of 7.5 million people, participants were about 2 3 million, of which eighty percent advocated the eventual independence of Catalonia
