A man named Hugo, 35 and a native of Paraguay, suffering burns over ninety percent of his body after saving the life of an old man of 94 years during a fire in a municipality in the province of Murcia (east).
Sources of Civil Protection reported that Hugo was transferred to a hospital in Murcia with very serious injuries from burns suffered in 90% of his body.
For his part The old man, named Trypho Abad Martinez is in another hospital in the same city with less severe head injuries.
Agents of the Judicial Police investigating this fire in the morning in a detached house where the old Hugo lives in company for seven years.
Emergency services received a call reporting the fire and firefighters came to the place in the region of Murcia and ambulances with medical personnel.
The fire, which affected the living room of the house, was immediately controlled by firefighters.
The medical personnel stabilized the injured and transferred to health centers.
The old man was in a wheelchair, told EFE and according to his daughter, 62, was Hugo who saved him from a fire in the lounge which was devastated housing.
