The president of Citizens, Albert Rivera, asked this Monday the Popular Party (PP) and the Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE), now without his secretary general, Pedro Sánchez, to resume the talks and seek a Government common.
“no excuses,” insisted Rivera in an informative breakfast of the organization New Economy Forum, in reference to the resignation of Sánchez, who remained firm in their decision not to support a investiture of the president-in-office, Mariano Rajoy.
Rivera called the “old parties” to “put Spain ahead of the interests of the party”, because, in his opinion, have a “moral obligation”.
