Spain has 30% of empty houses in Europe – AnsaLatina.com

MADRID, 23 (ANSA) – In Spain it accounts for about 30% of all empty houses in Europe and has so only 1.1% of social housing. This was denounced an Amnesty International (AI), which warns that “the right to housing at risk in Spain” and notes that “the authorities have not taken sufficient measures to protect and fulfill that right,” said its director in Spain, Esteban Beltrán.
