Captured in Spain for alleged drug mexican wanted by the DEA – process.com.mx

MADRID (apro).— Agents of the Spanish Police, in coordination with DEA, arrested here on a fugitive mexican responsible for the traffic of 30 kilos of methamphetamine in the united States, says a statement released today by the National Police.

On the alleged drug trafficker –who is not offered the identity— weighed an order of detention for purposes of extradition issued by the us authorities.

Sources close to the investigation assured to EFE that it is Miguel Angel Ramirez Cano, born in 1969.

The detainee, who belonged to a criminal network of drug traffickers, was involved in trafficking more than 30 kilograms of methamphetamine among the several states of the united States.

The investigation began at the end of 2016 when the police, in the framework of collaboration with the DEA Office in Madrid, they received information that a fugitive mexican could be found in Spain.

This alleged criminal was the representative of a drug trafficking organization in the united States that was dedicated to introduce large quantities of methamphetamine in this country, specifically, would be involved in the trafficking of 30 kilos of this drug.

After performing the searches, the agents Spanish located the fugitive mexican in a central madrid hotel, proceeding to his arrest when he was about to leave the same.
