Philip VI removed the title of Duchess to her sister Infanta Cristina – ElTiempo.com

The King of Spain, Philip VI, withdrew Friday the noble title of Duchess of Palma her sister Cristina, to be judged of course tax fraud in its most firmly to distance himself from a case of corruption that has plagued the popularity of the monarchy.

“I have resolved to revoke the attribution to Her Royal Highness Princess Cristina of the right to use the title of Duchess of Palma de Mallorca” showed a royal decree signed by Philip VI and published Friday in the Official Gazette.
